Promoting Missionary Aviation |
|
Since 1996 Mitch and Teresa Pennington, their friends and family have been at work building Heaven’ Landing Retreat on their farm in Medley, West Virginia. As founders of Visions Beyond Ministries, a (501c3) non profit organization the Pennington’s have been Fostering Christian Retreats in Aviation Settings. The main focus of this ministry is to provide Christian Camping and Retreat Facilities for romantic getaways, and marriage enrichment.
In addition, their involvement as members of the International Association of Missionary Aviation has challenged them to promote missionary aviation. They network with missionary organizations to recruit, mentor, and direct the next generation of missionary aviation professionals.
Mitch provides on site Missionary Pilot Training using the Maule Aircraft teaching bush pilot flying techniques to better prepare those pilots headed to the back country. For more information about Visions Beyond Ministries go to www.visionsbeyond.org
